Pyrenean Chamois
Rupicapra pyrenaica pyrenaica
High-mountain stalk of one of Europe's most agile and elusive animals, in the Pyrenees.
The Pyrenean chamois (Rupicapra pyrenaica pyrenaica) inhabits the Pyrenean peaks on the border with France and Andorra, where we manage nine thousand hectares of pristine grounds. It is a physical, technical stalk over impossible walls and slopes, rewarding the fit hunter. The best time runs from September to early December and again in spring, when its winter coat makes it even more spectacular.

Questions about this hunt
When is the Pyrenean chamois hunted?

Is it a demanding hunt?
It is a high-mountain stalk in the Pyrenees: serious terrain, superb scenery. We adjust the plan to your level with guides who know every couloir and ridge.
Can I take both Spanish chamois?
Yes: the Pyrenean and the Cantabrian are two distinct trophies and can be chained in one program. We organize it end to end.
