Hunting in Spain in autumn (September–November)
Autumn is the fullest season of the Spanish hunting year. It opens with the red stag rut in mid-September, continues with the fallow deer's ronca, brings montería and driven partridge from October, and keeps every mountain hunt open.
If you can only travel once, travel in autumn: it is the only window where the rut, the montería and mountain stalking all overlap.
