Hunting in Spain in winter (December–February)
Winter is the high season for montería and driven partridge, and it produces the year's best capes in mountain hunting. Ibex and Barbary sheep are hunted with coats at their prime and mature males concentrated.
It is the best time for an ibex trophy: coats at their peak and rutting activity that concentrates the males.
